Save a Child, Save a Mom
Save a Child, Save a Mom is a program designed to protect children since their conception.
Given that our mandate is to serve children 0-13 years of age, it is our strong commitment to do so since their gestation period as we believe every child has a purpose given by God.
As a result of this program, we seek to protect ALL children’s lives by serving their moms with dignity.
We have found that teenagers in poor and underserved communities get pregnant by accident and/or by lack of guidance more often than their highly educated counterparts. In many regions, these girls are thrown out of their homes resulting in vulnerable situations and potential bad choices that might damage their future.
Through Save a Child, Save a Mom we aim at providing the urgent care needs as well as the “whole person support” (Spiritual, Mental/Emotional, and Physical needs) to those moms until the successful term of their pregnancy. At that point, these girls decide if they can assume the responsibilities of being a young mom with our support and our local partners’ support or if they wish to give the child for adoption by a loving family following all the appropriate country legal adoption rules.
Through Save a Child, Save a Mom our goal is to bring a happy ending to an otherwise potentially tragic situation.
