Recycling Buddies
Recycling Buddies is a program that fully displays CASA Baez Segura Foundation commitment to protecting our planet earth and our full commitment to comply with Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) principles.
Our founder is passionate about ESG and has been at the forefront of this initiative for many years in her industry, Private Equity.
Through this educational program, we bring awareness to our kids at a very young age about the importance of protecting our planet earth by starting with their communities and surroundings.
In remote areas of countries such as the Dominican Republic and Haiti, there isn’t a cultural education about the proper disposal of garbage. In particular, the kind of garbage that is damaging to our environment such as plastic.
At CASA Baez Segura Foundation, we bring ESG awareness during every single event we hold and typically host educational events for this purpose.
It is amazing what can be achieved by simply educating the youth on this matter. They embrace it to the point they become the “little police” of adults when it comes to proper garbage disposal.
