Investing in the next generation

E*PWRD Kids

kids

The first E*PWRD Kids event took place in Harlem, NY the day before Halloween and it was conceived thinking about kids who usually don’t celebrate this holiday. For those kids who typically feel left out, the E*PWRD Kids is a great way for them to spend it without compromising their faith and their family values.

E*PWRD Kids are a series of events both in the U.S. and internationally. In the U.S. it is typically an alternative to Halloween but internationally, it is an event focused on education, self-esteem, and a manifestation of what God sees in them! The one thing that all of the events have in common is that they all reflect the exuberant love of God for them by a way of giving and receiving in abundance.

One cool feature of E*PWRD Kids is that the events are usually run by teenagers. We want to empower teenagers in those communities to serve others. It is a children’s event run by teens!

The E*PWRD Kids New York series events bring awareness to kids whose parents don’t celebrate this day, that they don’t need to “trick” anyone to receive TONS of free treats! They spend their day doing fun, creative and educational activities instead. They become their own superheroes and enjoy worship music and dances, games, face painting, and fun customizable superhero capes.
